The One Minute Entrepreneur by Ken Blanchard and Don Hutson with Ethan Willis is a parable about entrepreneurship, business success along with leadership and management.

The story outlines the life of Jud McCarley.  From his turning point in high school all the way through old age, the reader is presented with the struggles and successes of a typical entrepreneur.  The business that Jud founds and builds to success is a speaking and authorship type of company, so there are several nods to the likes of Charlie “Tremendous” Jones, Stephen Covey and other notable people in that sector.

The book is filled with principles of business, personal and business development, success along with leadership and management elements.  At the end of every chapter are “One Minute Insights” that provide a summary of the main bullet points and the key principles in the book.  If you are not a fan of business parables, you probably will not enjoy this read.  However if you don’t mind this style, you will find this book easy to read and right on point with its message.
